My Background
About Me
Hi, I’m Louella Garcia—a survivor, thriver, bodybuilder, and coach who knows the fight to escape narcissistic abuse isn’t just emotional…it’s life or death. I didn’t just make it out. I rebuilt—body, mind, and soul.
I hold a double-major Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (with an emphasis in Marriage & Family) and Criminal Justice. After a long career in government serving children, families, adults with disabilities, and older adults, I stepped fully into my purpose and founded Thriving Beyond Abuse, LLC. My mission: create a judgment-free, trauma-informed space where survivors—especially women who’ve been silenced, gaslit, and worn down—can safely rise, reclaim their voice, and rebuild on their own terms.
My coaching is rooted in lived experience plus decades of professional service. I’ve walked through chaos, manipulation, smear campaigns, and the slow erosion of self-worth. I know what it’s like to question your reality. I also know what it takes to get your life back—and make it stronger than before.
In my work, we focus on:

My Healing Journey after an abusive relationship
I have been where you are...Looking for help to escape the claws of an abusive partner. I have researched, read several books, listened to audio books, listened to Youtube creators, social media accounts about domestic violence and narcissistic abusive relationships. In the beginning, I didnt have a clue about this type of personality disorder. At the end of the relationship, I knew that my life had been forever changed. I experienced tremendous emotional and physical abuse. The manipulation and gaslighting was extreme. I have sat where you are, desperate for answers. I am here to help you prosper on your healing journey, thrive and ultimately change your life.
A narcissistic abusive relationship can change you forever. When you enter the relationship, you are a whole person. When you finally break the trauma bond and free yourself, you are a shell of the person you once were. This give us a powerful opportunity to rebuild the awesome life, we've always dreamed of.
My Approach
Every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. Through lifes challenges, we often lose sight of who we are, our self esteem lessens and our confidence dives. My approach is centered around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes. We will work to identify what and who you are. We will explore your true self and get busy putting in the work. Healing takes intention, mindset change and most of all determination!
